The maintenance of the animal shelter is very costly. Of course, the building and outdoor facilities must be maintained. Not all activities or even purchases can be covered by the volunteer staff. Our protégés also need to be adequately cared for, and veterinary costs weigh most heavily in everyday shelter life. Especially for our oldies and chronically ill, a visit to the vet (with appropriate medication up to operations) is usually unavoidable. Against this background, we are grateful for any financial support – it directly benefits the animals.
